This is my second A.R.E lid the last one was 12 years old when I sold the truck. It was still in great shape. The new lid has a better appearance and the new lock/latch system is much improved. The hold down clamps are a much better design than the old ones. I have only had the new lid for 3 days and it has rained on it every day but not a single drop of water has leaked into the bed. The installation only took 45 minutes and was very well done by the men at DFW Camper Corral.
