The lid flares out at front (gap 3/4"-7/8") of the bed and is a rain and wind problem allowing the front corners to leak. When you close the lid there is daylight so there is potential for rain to come into the back of the bed. I have owned other A.R.E. lids and they fit like a glove. I believe the engineers should of left a smaller gap or just rounded the sharp corner that may rub the paint when opened room for definite improvement for this truck lid.
